1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the VoiceDiary mobile application ("VoiceDiary", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.
2. User Content & Full Voice Ownership
You retain 100% full intellectual property and proprietary ownership of all audio recordings, voice journals, text transcripts, notes, photos, and personal memories ("User Content") that you create or store within VoiceDiary.
We do not claim any copyright, trademark, or ownership rights over your User Content. You grant us solely the limited, non-exclusive license strictly necessary to store, transmit, process, and display your User Content to provide the core services of VoiceDiary (such as transcribing audio and generating insights) as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. License & Permitted Use
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, VoiceDiary grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited personal license to download, install, and use the mobile application on devices owned or controlled by you for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the application.
- Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or security of our Google Firebase cloud infrastructure.
- Upload recordings containing malicious code, unauthorized recordings of third parties without consent, or illicit content.
4. AI Features & General Information Disclaimer
VoiceDiary utilizes artificial intelligence models to convert speech to text, summarize entries, detect emotional sentiment, and generate knowledge graphs.
Non-Medical / Non-Psychiatric Notice: VoiceDiary is designed strictly as a personal productivity and self-reflection tool. Automated mood tracking and AI-generated insights do not constitute medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, or health advice. VoiceDiary is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any mental health conditions. Always consult a qualified medical professional for health-related concerns.
5. Account Security & Data Deletion
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and login credentials. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
You may terminate your account and delete your stored entries at any time via in-app Settings or by submitting a request through our Data Deletion Request Page.
6. Third-Party Services
VoiceDiary utilizes third-party providers including Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage) and AI APIs. Your use of these integrated features may also be subject to the terms and privacy practices of those respective third-party providers.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VoiceDiary and its creators, developers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of goodwill, or service interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the App.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at our discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide notice through the application or our website prior to any new terms taking effect.
